What is this grief retreat and who is it for?ABIDE: WAVES OF GRACE is a Christ-centered grief retreat for mothers experiencing child loss, including pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, and the loss of children of any age.
You do not need to “be okay” to come. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Can I bring my nursing baby?While we deeply value and honor nursing mothers, we also recognize this retreat setting may not be the best environment for babies. Our hope is to cultivate a quiet and emotionally restful space for grieving mothers, many of whom are navigating tender and recent loss.
Because of this, we encourage attendees to make childcare arrangements when possible. We understand this may not be possible for every mother, and we hold that with compassion and grace.

Do I have to be a Christian to attend?No. While this retreat is rooted in the Christian faith and the hope of Jesus, all grieving mothers are welcome.
