In-Person Darien Peña is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Chelsey Kinney, LPC-S. She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary (2024) and provides counseling services through A Season For, PLLC.

Darien has experience working with children, teens, and adults in both individual and group settings. She has supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relational stress, and life transitions. She also has specialized training in RelateStrong and Prepare/Enrich, equipping her to support couples and families.

Her counseling approach is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. This means that her priority is to cultivate a warm, accepting counselor-client relationship wherein clients can find encouragement and resources to gain insight and take steps toward health and hope. Family Systems work builds understanding of a client’s familial context, a powerful and clarifying factor in the change process.
